District Hot Yoga

Our philosophy at District transcends far beyond the edges of the mat. We believe that yoga is not just confined to the physical postures practiced in the studio but extends to every facet of life. 'Yoga on and off your mat' encapsulates our core belief; that the lessons learned during yoga practice – presence, strength, resilience, balance, self-compassion, and trust are tools to navigate the challenges and joys of everyday existence.

Jamie Surya Yoga Studio

Jamie embarked on her yoga journey during her teenage years, seeking comfort from the inevitable pain that comes with life. Her initial interest in meditation and yogic philosophy naturally evolved into a dedicated asana practice. In 2012, at the age of 20, she opened the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio in Sparkill, NY, with the hopes of sharing this transformative practice that had so deeply impacted her life.

Peace in Piermont

Peace in Piermont offers classes that teach children and adults mindfulness, yoga, fitness, meditation, and various strategies for coping with stress, while building community amongst participants. There are classes and workshops available for parents that provide support for any obstacles they are enduring with their children—socially, emotionally, or behaviorally. We work with local school districts, corporations, and nonprofits to help teach students, patients, and/or employees ways de-stressing via mindfulness practices.
